The New Do

I have been wanting to get rid of the locks for some time now. I didn't like the way it hang dry and horsehair-esque down my back. I didn't like how I had to have a supply of scrunchies in my bag to have some semblance of a passable do every day. I didn't like how I had to wait for more than 5 minutes for it to dry up before I can make up my mind on what to do with it. And I didn't like the way it gave me itchies in the face whenever I encounter a breeze. I did NOT like it. Sooooo... I got rid of it! Well, most of it, anyway. :P And I couldn't be more ecstatic. :D

Days 32, 33, and 34 - Double Chocolate Muffin, Moonlight, and the Chic Pigeon

Have been so busy lately that I feel so tired and sleepy by the time I get home. And I also had to sort of allocate some of my time to a project my friends and I have been working on... of which we're pretty proud of. :P Took this one months ago when I had coffee with a friend... caught up with the girl talk. This one was outside my new workplace... snapped it while I was walking to the PUJ terminal. ^_^ One of the pigeons who usually wake me up with their ruckus on our roof and out my window. I have been busy... but not so unhappy anymore.  And that's a good thing. Happy weekend, everyone!

Hopeful Saturday

It's the weekend and I'm stuck here at the office. I have no life! Kidding! It's just a colorful social life that I lack. And that's not really anything to worry about. I'm a self-proclaimed anti-social wallflower, and I've no problems with that. Besides I kinda like doing things by myself. I thrive on being alone sometimes. Oh, but I have tons of friends. It's just that most of them have their own families to deal with and some of them are doing their own thing most weekends. Soooo, I usually spend my weekends being a couch potato at home... the entire day! Not today though. Today, I'm at the office trying to seem like I'm working... when in reality, I'm not. We've got a nice view outside our window though. except for that part that got burned yesterday... which just looks sad :( Hope I get to play the shutterbug today before the sun goes home. >_<

Getting reacquainted with a lovely piece

I have always loved movies. They're among the few things that my father and I share... our love of films. And tonight, I just got reacquainted with one of my fave films... Dark City. This is the only film I can remember where I actually thought Rufus Sewell handsome. :P Lovely Mr. Murdoch. *_* And I still love the story... although, it could still confuse you at times. Hehe. It didn't hurt that it had Kiefer and John Hurt either. And boy, Jennifer Connelly was mighty pretty here.

Day 31 - At the Exhibit

Attended a friend's art exhibit opening yesterday. It was pretty chic. The food was yummy and the place had a nice interior--very artsy, in my opinion. And these were some of the pixies I snapped. The food looked lovely, too... but I was too busy people watching. :P more pixies... pieces I would have loved to buy... if I could've afforded them... :) There were some very interesting people at that opening. Case in point, a local celebrity made an appearance. (Budoy -the guy with the head wrap) The event itself was nicely done--albeit a tad informal, but still--and the pieces were quite fascinating.  I felt like such a sophisticatedly cultured individual by the time we went home. Hehe. Postscript: It was my first day of work at the new office, too. I guess I had quite a busy day yesterday. :P

Days 28, 29, & 30 - Fun Girl, The Grind, & Village Road

And yes, this is me being extremely lazy and overly procrastinator-y... if there is such a word. :D snapped this at a bazaar in IT Park... made me laugh this is my attempt at taking photos of NOT inanimate objects :P in honor of my last glimpse of this walkway/village road
