Of late...

I have been neglecting this blog. Apologies. Anyhoo, these are some of the photos I've taken this month. The Wishing Tree  I so love the cherry blossoms... however fake. :P And I have a new furry friend... courtesy of my mom. I actually asked my nieces to leave this cutie with me. But since they got loads of stuffed toys, I didn't feel guilty at all taking this one from them. Hehehe. See, they have toys aplenty. (>_<) And they have dolls, too.  I'm not jealous... not jealous, at all. *_* Updates from the previous post... I love It's Kind of A Funny Story the most. And The Art of Getting By and Waiting for Forever weren't half bad. Meanwhile, I'm ambivalent about Like Crazy . The ending was a bit off, in my opinion. Hmmm...

For the Love Month

Searching for nice romantic movies to drown myself in this love month.  So far, I found: Like Crazy The Art of Getting By It'a Kind of a Funny Story Waiting for Forever Memoirs of a Teenage Amnesiac and Blue Valentine. Then my head went blank. Hehehe. Soooo, does anyone out there have any more suggestions?

My Naughty Niece

Ashlin, my youngest niece, had another funny episode yesterday. Apparently, she put some thick oil(I suspect it was edible oil because she told me she got it from the fridge) on her head. And no matter how many times my sister tried to wash it off, the mischievous tyke's head was still thick with it. When asked what type of oil she put on her head, she'd just shrug and say in a parrot-y voice "Oil." Haha. And when a day later, her hair is still ickily slick with the stuff, I couldn't help myself. I dragged her to the sink and washed her hair with any soap I could find.  I think it was the dish-washing liquid that did it. Hehe. :P And now, her hair is back to its soft and chaotically curly self. :D The only thing to do now is cross our fingers she doesn't come up with worse ways to misbehave.

Tremors, Rumors, and Whatnots

Today has been quite an adventure for the people of Cebu, Negros, and Ilo-Ilo. I don't exactly know what happened on the streets of the other two places, but here in Cebu, people were in all states of panic and chaos. And I know I should be scared... but I just couldn't help laughing after  most of my neighbors started screaming in terror while running towards what they think is "uphill" about an hour after the tremor. Don't get me wrong, I did get scared. I got scared when I felt the main tremor while I was sleepily trying to wake up. I actually went outdoors in my pjs. Hahaha. But when some "psycho" incited panic by screaming that he saw the waters coming towards our sitio and I realized it was just a nasty joke, I couldn't help laughing. I couldn't even go to my tutorial because the streets were jammed. *sigh* I hope she and her family are okay. On a related note, I snapped some pictures (ehem... proof) of the pandemonium today. Luckily, the
