I haven't been really visible here the past two months. I have no particular excuse. I've just decided to spend all my energies on more important goals. :D (The last bit might sound like an excuse, but it really is not. :P)
Now, for all those friends out there who don't know... I have spent the entire time I've been absent here, in Singapore. Yup, you read that right. So yes, I should have been more excited about posting pictures but I felt that, curiously, I had nothing to say. Sorry about that. I get those "blank" moments sometimes. And yes, the fear of maybe experiencing an early onset of Alzheimer's is there. That's what happens if you're too well-informed about disorders and diseases... "Paranoia" bites you (hard) on the ass. But I digress. The point of this long-winded post is to declare to the "World Wide Web" that Linea is back from the Infinite Space of Absolutely Nothing. And to prove that it is indeed me, I will be bragging(through photos) about my recent trip to the Merlion City.
So, without further useless blabbering, here they are...
On our way to Changi Airport...
(Allain and Joan)
(Joan and moi)
Aisle
After we arrived and had a brief siesta at Peachy and Kiko's place, we went to the famous shopping district... Orchard Road
where we had a very late lunch...
(Beef Steak)
(Pad Thai)
(Olive Rice with Sauteed Chicken and Egg)
(Pineapple Rice)
After getting some grub, we wandered around and saw...
this girl who kept tugging her dress up... hehehe
and this really cute exhibit outside one of the shops...
Then, we went to the subway to go to Dhoby Ghaut...
where we had dinner :D
(Fish Fillet with Rice)
(Crispy Chicken)
(Kimchi)
(and All-You-Can-Eat Ice Cream!!!)
Vanilla ice cream is the best!!!
And that concludes my first day in Singapore. :)
