I have been reading stories since I was in grade school, where I first got my hands on some books with stories. I remember my first favorite story was of Henny Penny and her eggs. Since then, I have read hundreds of books--I'd love to say thousands but I'm such a slow reader these days, I know I'd be lying. :P And I'm not even so picky with the genre; I read almost anything with a plot. That's probably why I love TV and movies as much as I do books. I just love stories. Now, I have heard about George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series from a friend years ago. And this particular friend loves books as much--maybe even more--as I do. She told me I'd love them because she knows I love fantasy books. And I believe her because she always gives good advice when it comes to books. (She's the one who introduced me to Dean Koontz, after all.) I even bought the first four books on a whim when I spied them at my fave bookstore a couple of years ago ...
I love writing nonsensical stuff, reading sappy love stories, snapping pretty sunsets, gobbling green tea froyo, pinching babies' chubby cheeks, and lip-syncing to The Beatles songs.
