I have been neglecting this blog. Apologies.


Anyhoo, these are some of the photos I've taken this month.

I so love the cherry blossoms... however fake. :P


And I have a new furry friend... courtesy of my mom. I actually asked my nieces to leave this cutie with me. But since they got loads of stuffed toys, I didn't feel guilty at all taking this one from them. Hehehe.


See, they have toys aplenty. (>_<) And they have dolls, too. 
I'm not jealous... not jealous, at all. *_*


Updates from the previous post... I love It's Kind of A Funny Story the most. And The Art of Getting By and Waiting for Forever weren't half bad. Meanwhile, I'm ambivalent about Like Crazy. The ending was a bit off, in my opinion. Hmmm...

      Binata kaayo bah, but I was actually entertaining the idea of keeping them all. Thankfully, Sanity came back and gave me a thump on the noggin'. Haha.

Getting sunburned in Daanbantayan

I went to this nice resort in Daanbantayan for a weekend trip last month. And no, this is not the island, this is still within the main island of Cebu. Ley and I took the bus. This is not the bus terminal. I took this at one of the pit stops. :P It's been so long since I took the public bus somewhere that I forgot you buy the ticket while the bus is already running, not before you board the bus. Yup, I was a bit of an ignoramus that day, or a really amnesiac person. Haha. Anyways, while we were on the bus, I fell asleep. And since I took the window seat, this  was what happened... A blessed month... this one we call January

Many of my friends and some of my family were born this month. I do not exactly know if they were born on gloomy or sunlit days. But I do know this, my world has been made more beautiful because they were. More specifically, four of my most favorite people in the world were January babies. *Bella Dona* (10th) She is one of the wisest and kindest people I know. She has both been a staunch supporter and chastiser in my world. She transforms into one or the other from time to time, whichever I need the most at that time. And she is among the first to turn 31 in our batch this year. Hehehe! But never you mind, Don. 31 is just a number. What matters is that your heart is in the right place. Right? The Dark Horse by Marcus Sedgwick

If you're one of my cyber friends, you'd think I barely read these days because of the lack of book posts I've done lately. But actually, I'm still at it... at a much slower pace, albeit. But I'm still at it. I'm just so overwhelmed with other stuff that I barely have time to write for fun, which I think is quite sad. Downright depressing sometimes, I tell you! Anyways, the last book I've finished--that I could still remember--is The Dark Horse by Marcus Sedgwick. I've had this book for years. You see, I collect books I think I want to read and just dump them in boxes whenever my bed becomes too crowded and start to smell like an old library. So I have tons of books I've had for years but never really read. Lately though, I've been rummaging inside the aforementioned boxes because people have been asking to borrow some of my books.
