A Rose and Some Rain

February, the month of cutesy hearts and lovey dovey stuff... except maybe for me. It's always been "the second month of the year" or "Sean's birth month" for me. So yes, I was never the normal one. But I guess any month is always a blessing--I still do have loved ones, after all. And I am more than happy to be alive... and well... and able to rant or "eloquently" blab about things. (yes, I can be conceited sometimes ^_^)

Aaa-ny-way... this post certainly has no direction at all. All I just wanted to do is post some pretty pictures I took this gloomy nippy day. Oh yes, it was a chilly February day. I got to use my kitty-ridden umbrella... and got goosebumps all over my upper limbs from the cold when I got out of the office. It was a cute morning though, despite the overcast weather. I spied some cute colorful umbrellas outside our hall. It made me grin.

And when I got home, I finally remembered to take pictures of the Valentine rose I bought last week... in case I needed to explain at our team dinner why I was wearing sporty clothes when I was supposed to be wearing a "Valentine reminiscent" ensemble. And no, I will not divulge why I was wearing sporty clothes. Thinking about it is embarrassing enough. :P

It was a chilly day, and it still is a chilly evening... my legs have been sporadically sprouting goosebumps as I type the rest of this post... but it was a good day despite the depressing weather. Hope it gets warmer soon.

I am so not looking forward to freezing cold early morning showers. *facepalm*

A blessed month... this one we call January

Many of my friends and some of my family were born this month. I do not exactly know if they were born on gloomy or sunlit days. But I do know this, my world has been made more beautiful because they were. More specifically, four of my most favorite people in the world were January babies. *Bella Dona* (10th) She is one of the wisest and kindest people I know. If you're one of my cyber friends, you'd think I barely read these days because of the lack of book posts I've done lately. But actually, I'm still at it... at a much slower pace, albeit. But I'm still at it. I'm just so overwhelmed with other stuff that I barely have time to write for fun, which I think is quite sad. Downright depressing sometimes, I tell you! You see, I collect books I think I want to read and just dump them in boxes whenever my bed becomes too crowded and start to smell like an old library. Getting sunburned in Daanbantayan

I went to this nice resort in Daanbantayan for a weekend trip last month. And no, this is not the island, this is still within the main island of Cebu. Ley and I took the bus. This is not the bus terminal. I took this at one of the pit stops. :P It's been so long since I took the public bus somewhere that I forgot you buy the ticket while the bus is already running, not before you board the bus. Yup, I was a bit of an ignoramus that day, or a really amnesiac person. Haha. Anyways, while we were on the bus, I fell asleep. And since I took the window seat, this was what happened...
